Wish list for India VBS

Rev. Allen Dayal, who is an intern with Trinity this year, has a wish list of additional items he needs for the Vacation Bible School (VBS) in India this summer. They include a family puppet set, a wireless microphone, a portable bluetooth PA system, and an 80″ projection screen. The total cost of these items is approximately $700. If you would like to make a contribution towards the cost of these items, which would supplement the VBS funding that Trinity has already contributed through your normal pledges, please note on your check or online giving that it is for “India VBS.”

Mini Reunion!/NEW young adult Sunday class

KICK OFF May 5th!

Are you age 18-24, and too “old” for Youth Group, but still have faith questions and/or experiences that have come up along your life journey? Wouldn’t it be great to meet up with others in the same boat and bounce ideas off each other? Wouldn’t it also be great to have someone there with Bible knowledge? Come join us during Sunday School hour (10:10am) in the Library for relaxed fellowship and faith seeking (and eating snacks!) together! Luke Bultena and Michelle Edwards will be there with chips and salsa for the kick-off! We plan to meet throughout the summer, so anytime you’re in town, just come as you are to hang out with us!

Gallery T: Summer Show Submissions Request

Be part of the next Gallery T!  The theme is ‘Joy’ but you can loosely interpret what that means to you (so basically, we want your art work-don’t let the theme stop you!) We are seeking works of arts and crafts of all media. Please bring your ready to hang (or show on the shelves) by Friday May 24 to the Church office.  The show will be live on June 2nd. More details at this link  (If you have items currently on display, we ask that you take them home in May.)

Online Directory! Signup, Sign in and Update.

We are excited to announce that Trinity now has an online directory, called Church Connect. But to make it work, we need members to create accounts and update their information. As well as access to the directory, members will also have access to their Church giving, and have one place where they can easily see upcoming events and get involved. This is a great tool to help us keep connected and help us support one another but to make it work, we need you to signup, sign in and update.

For the link and step-by step instructions click here or scan the circle QR code to the right (point your phone at it and then click on the link that pops up). For in-person help or questions, Ben will be in the Lewis Room during the Education hour for the next few Sundays. You can also email him

Interested in a Field Trip? Learn About Harriet Tubman

The Racial Justice Ministry is exploring a trip to the Eastern Shore to learn more about Harriet Tubman, hailed as the ‘Moses of Her People,’ in March 2025. This will be a family friendly activity. The trip would involve travel via a bus from Trinity, an overnight stay in a local hotel, and possibly a tour guide.  We would like to see how many people are interested to help our planning. Saying you are interested does not imply a commitment.  Please let Donna Parry  know if you are interested.

New Member Class

We have just started our new member class, so if you are interested, we would love to have you!  The class will be held over a six-week period in April and May. This is a repeat from the Winter session, so if you missed a week, please pop in this time. This week’s topic is be “How do you spell Presbyterian?”  Questions?  Ask Pastor Judith or Jim Dykstra.

Weekday Bible Study

Wednesday, April 10th. 7:30-8:30 pm in Classroom A:

This 8-week Bible Study will work its way through the Gospel of John. There is no homework and a theology degree is not needed. Contact Ben for more information or to let Ben know that you’ll be joining the fun. Ben.  Drop ins welcome!

Who’s Cooking?

Hopefully, you! We need an adult who will be the cook for the Youth Mission Trip this summer (July 21-27th). We have lots of guidance of how to do this incredibly important (and rewarding) job! Contact Keeley with questions or interests.
